Angular developer | SaaS
What does this company do?
Most of us have tried to plan something at one time or another. A friends' outing, cooking dinner when actually the kids should be at their sports or something that often looks easy, making a schedule. Now the latter, scheduling, had become such an irritation of one of the founders 10 years ago that he decided to do something about it. Manually going through everything every time, taking into account of everyone's wishes, and then remembering all of this too. This had to change, they thought. So an application was built that gave an easy overview of the employees' availability. Thanks to their software, the back and forth of e-mails and messages were over. Employees are now involved in creating rosters because they can log in themselves and add all the information needed for a clear schedule.
However, it did not stop there, as there are so many possibilities. Days off can be easily requested, shifts can be swapped, and even within different departments there is the possibility to generate insights for a clear overview. So the right staff is always in the right place. Now, thousands of customers are using their software. Partly because of their software, the puzzle in the canteen is the only puzzle problem. They do all of this from their beautiful office on the Keizersgracht, where in summer you can enjoy sailing on the company boat through the canals of Amsterdam.
What is it they need you for?
As you might understand, this is not just any software. With large customers like Bruna, Etos, Primera, Specsavers, Rituals and so on, this is not just any staff planning tool. With increasing demand, there are always features to develop. As a result, you are more than welcome to help the company grow.
How will you do this? You will be responsible for developing the new app, further developing the website and web applications and optimizing the system. You will do this together with the team in which you are the front-end specialist. The main project consists of migrating the current system to an angular environment.
What are your skills?
Besides your skills as a developer, the culture here is well guarded. You will work in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is very nice to each other. Going the extra mile for each other is highly appreciated. For example, Friday afternoon drinks often start on Thursday in their lounge area. Of course, this is not compulsory and completely voluntary, but being social is appreciated here! Does this sound like music to your ears? Then these are the minimum skills you must possess:
- 3+ years of experience with Angular
- JavaScript
- Structured code
Big plus:
- State management tooling experience
This is wat you will get!
Besides being a very nice employer, the terms and conditions don't dissapoint:
- Up to €6000 based on 38 hours per week
- 25 holidays
- Macbook
- Personal development budget
- Plenty of outings to enjoy yourself
- A lot of freedom in your work
- Hybrid working environment
- Reimbursement of travel expenses
