What does our client do?

Originating from their own interest in gaming, in 24 years this organization has grown into a leading full-service software development powerhouse with more than 300 FTE. As such, they are the not-so-silent force behind major clients on an international level. For them, they build and maintain their platforms from start to finish. Other project include the biggest sport streaming service in the Netherlands and the "my environments" of big dutch corporates in diverse branches.

Collaboration and collegiality are paramount, and therefore communication is important within this organization. This can all be seen in their passion for development where they are developing at the office for two days a week, more days are always an option of course! In between developing, it is not unusual to defeat a colleague on one of the fifteen PlayStations 5, visit the gym or relax in the home cinema. Not entirely unimportant in development is keeping your knowledge up-to-date in a fun way. Therefore, on Tuesdays, there are knowledge sessions where food is ordered, and you can work on your own projects or get inspiration from others.

They do all this in multidisciplinary project teams in an agile way of working.

What is it you will be doing?

To keep doing the cool projects they build for clients, they need extra hands. In fact, as a senior, you will be responsible for communicating with clients to pick up requirements. So not only you need some hands to get the job done, but also a mouth to extract the requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the right quality in the team and have final responsibility for several large projects!

As an IOS Developer, you will create the most beautiful apps from start to finish. During the design sessions, you provide input based on your expertise. You make hourly estimates based on the designs. Together with the entire IOS team, you share responsibility for the architecture of the apps and work in scrum teams with other disciplines to create the most beautiful products.

The team you will work in consists of around 60 developers, 12 of whom specialise in IOS. They believe it is important to separate responsibilities in the code and test what they deliver. For this, they use clean architecture combined with clean code, the code is further provided with UNIT testing and where necessary UI testing. Obviously, you have experience with UIKit framework.

Then these are the minimum skills you need to have to succeed at our client:

• 3 years' experience as an IOS developer
• Knowledge of architectures
• Writing testable codes
