Lead Frontend developer | Crypto Exchange
The Company
Our journey started back in 2016. We set out with one goal in mind; create a fair and efficient market place with high engine capacity with low latency and always enough liquidity to go around.
We have done exceptionally well, as we are now the biggest crypto option exchange in the world!
This means we have had a max trading volume of over 4 billion, no not per month, per day! We are not as influenced by current market conditions as some of our competitors, as much of our volume comes from big institutional investors. Also we thrive on volatility, which the crypto market has plenty of.
Currently we have around 60 employees and our development team is around 30 people strong. Our devs are evenly split among Poland and Amsterdam. Obviously this is not enough for a company of our stature and vision. We are looking for a strong frontend developer to strengthen our team in Amsterdam. This is where you come in!
The Job
You will be joining our international team of highly skilled frontend developers in Amsterdam on site and you will be working with our Polish devs too! There is a sitting tech lead that could use some help steering the ship. You will be helping him lead the team but remain hands on too. 70% hands on and 30% leading (give or take).
The codIng is done in React and Typescript. It is not just any React job though, the job is dynamic as there is very high amounts of data going through the exchange that has to displayed in real time, thus it's very technically complex.
We currently have a strong working product, but we are by no means finished. You will be helping by driving innovation and constantly adding new features to the product, fixing bugs and creating new designs, just to name a few things you could be working on.

What do you bring?
- 6+ years experience in Frontend with a modern coding language (preferably React).
- Be able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Have atleast 1-2 years of lead experience.
- Knowledge of brokers or exchanges is a nice to have too.
- Be able to write solid and readable code.
- Be able to work in the Amsterdam office 3-4 days a week
