Job description

As a Software Developer on our client’s Services Engineering Team, you’ll be at the heart of creating and improving the software that drives their customers’ success. Your primary responsibility will be to develop custom software solutions that meet the specific needs of their customers and partners. This will involve working closely with product managers, customer-facing teams, other developers, and Quality Assurance to ensure that the solutions you create are not only functional but also reliable, efficient, and user-friendly.

Beyond creating custom solutions, you’ll also play a key role in enhancing their internal tools. These tools are crucial for improving the efficiency of their team and enabling their partners to deliver top-notch service to their customers. You’ll be involved in analyzing technical issues, implementing configuration changes, performing rigorous testing, and ensuring that any support requests are resolved quickly and effectively.

In this dynamic role, you’ll need to be adaptable and responsive, as priorities can shift rapidly. You’ll have the opportunity to work across different time zones, collaborating with their teams in the Netherlands and Canada. This international collaboration will not only broaden your experience but also allow you to contribute to solutions that have a global impact.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL
• 2+ years of experience with backend JavaScript
• Experience with TypeScript
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems systematically
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Ubuntu
• Experience with cloud computing services such as GCP (preferred), Azure, or AWS
• Ability to work independently and translate requirements into effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
• Creativity, critical thinking, a good sense of humor, and a passion for your craft
