Job description

As a Backend/Fullstack Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and impactful digital solutions for mission-driven brands and start-ups. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop cutting-edge web applications and contribute to our client's diverse portfolio of projects. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into high-quality code and functional web applications.
• Developing and maintaining scalable and robust backend solutions using PHP and Drupal.
• Implementing responsive designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and usability across various devices and browsers.
• Participating in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of developed applications.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing your technical skills and knowledge.
• Contributing to the improvement of development processes and workflows, striving for efficiency and productivity.
• Working in an agile and self-organizing team environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements, providing technical insights, and delivering solutions that align with the client's objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of autonomy in your development tasks. You should be self-driven, capable of making informed decisions, and have a strong sense of initiative to tackle challenges and find innovative solutions. Requirements include:

• Strong proficiency of 3+ years in backend and/or fullstack development.
• Extensive experience with PHP and Drupal, including custom module development and theming.
• Knowledge of modern web standards, responsive design principles, and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Passion for technology and a desire to create impactful digital experiences.
