Job description
Our client is a fast-growing, worldwide ground transfer provider for businesses; servicing airlines, the travel industry and corporate clients in over 140 countries and 880 destinations. They offer professional business taxi, executive, minibuses and similar transportation to our client base.
We are looking for ambitious, talented individuals with a global outlook to join their IT team.

- Know about:
- DTO’s
- Async/await
- High cohesion / low coupling
- Database transactions and isolation levels(InnoDB)
- Programming code for a multi-server architecture:
- Caching(Redis)
- Stateless architecture
- Worker environments(jobs/queue’s)
- Testing
- Unit testing
- Mocking
- e2e/integration testing
- Know about SOLID
- You’re pragmatic
Pre’s:
- NestJS Framework
- Know about:
- Service Orientated Architecture
- CQRS
- DDD
- Kafka
- Protobuf / gRPC

* Although we are not actively using DDD/CQRS to the fullest, we still use parts of it such as Bounded context, Value objects etc. so it’s good to know about parts of it
You are an advocate of working with interfaces, but also know when it’s an abstraction too much.
Future stack:
Our client is using a microservice architecture with GraphQL for browser-to-server communication, and GRPC and Kafka for microservice-to-microservice communication. We are using a service mesh with Istio for these microservices together with Kubernetes.
Their front-end is using React + Typescript + Material UI to interface with the GraphQL endpoints.
