You won't be working directly with Jarvis, of course, but you will be working with the techniques behind it. Our client started developing various software versions years ago with the goal of improving the experience of telling digital experiences. They have now developed this to the point where they are the only company in the Netherlands to offer experiences similar to those in Iron Man. They do this with their own software product, taking storytelling to the next level.

In combination with their software, they also set up hardware at locations to create 360-degree visualization, express holographic imagery and play with screens live during a presentation. You can think of this as an experience similar to VR-glasses, but then that you can actually walk through a space and experience the feeling together with others. Large international clients such as banks, clothing brands, airlines are already using this, making the customer experience go to the top on a whole other level. As a result? More sales, more revenue and more growth for the customers.

What can the software then be used for? Presentations, meetings, trainings, product reveals, interactive signage to the audience and much more. The techniques are limitless, such as the roof for this company. Can it be designed in a proof of concept? Then it is going to be built. They are currently a small tight-knit team which is planned to expand to multiple teams over the course of the year to continue to deliver value to the users.

Job description

Since the company is growing rapidly, they need you to come up with an even better product. The goal within the organization is to always innovate and improve. This gives you a lot of freedom to provide your input and ideas. Whether this is interactivity in the space's create, polishing current features or platform improving performance and reliability; you'll be part of the whole product lifecycle. For example, you might build a collaboration feature to allow users to work on content together. Or a feature that allows users to configure media used in the spaces as triggers for other content.

As a Senior/Lead developer you will be hands on developing, but also be 20% responsible for searching and investigating the innovative new ideas. The other 10% is being responsible for the set targets and in the future the guidance of medior and junior developers.

Requirements

There is so much to do within this company. There is room enough for you to grow and make use of other techniques such as React and Unity, but now there is a need for you. Who is hopefully capable of:

• 4 years at least with Node.JS
• 4 years at least with Typescript
• DDD or TDD
• Testing your own stuff

Within this company, only 25% of the people are technical, but you will be working with everyone to optimize the customer needs and internal innovations. Therefore, you need to be communicative enough to explain what you are doing and building to the 75% whom are not technical. You also need to know what you are doing as you will be guiding other people. Why you make certain decisions and explaining them are an important task of your work.
