Job description
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll manage cloud environments for their clients, including critical setups. While extensive Azure experience isn't required, some knowledge or exposure would be valuable as you'll introduce Azure solutions to the development team. Sounds cool right?
One crucial skill they seek is Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Your ability to automate cloud resource management using IaC tools will be vital for creating scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain solutions.
Your main task is designing and building infrastructure tailored to their clients' needs, leading initial sprints to guide developers.
Collaboration is key as you work with diverse teams to develop top-notch software and cloud environments. Your Azure expertise, along with IaC skills, will complement their existing AWS-focused DevOps team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering elegant and robust solutions for scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Managing Azure DevOps/SDLC environments, including critical setups.
- Designing effective DevOps solutions and collaborating with the development team and clients.
- Fostering a positive engineering culture and driving innovation.
- Independent and proactive work attitude, with strong teamwork skills.
- Analytical thinking to identify and implement improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in modern Azure environments for software organizations, with site reliability engineering skills
- Knowledge and experience with cloud native environments and setting them up using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) in Azure
- Ability to set up and manage Continuous Integration & Delivery pipelines for various software products, including monitoring/observability and technical documentation
- Extensive automation expertise using Python/Bash and other relevant skills
- Knowledge and experience with Docker
- Bonus: Background as a Software Engineer
