Our client is now in the scale-up phase and is the largest online platform in the Netherlands that supports restaurants and other eateries in managing their orders and take-out services. They offer various services, including online ordering and payment systems, website and menu development, marketing tools and reporting functionality. They already do this for more than 3,500 restaurants, which tens of thousands of consumers use every day.

Using the platform, restaurants can set up their own personalized online ordering website, where customers can view, order and pay for dishes. The system can also integrate with existing restaurant websites. In addition, they offer a wide range of features to improve operational efficiency, such as order management, inventory management and customer loyalty systems.

The goal is to help restaurants optimize their ordering and takeout services, making it easier for them to process online orders and increase sales. The company focuses specifically on the hospitality industry, offering customized solutions for both small eateries and large restaurant chains.

Detailed:

You are responsible for programming, testing and implementing the front-end part, continuously striving to improve the technical aspects, usability and accessibility. You ensure that the user interface seamlessly matches the customer's requirements and contribute to the design of new and innovative solutions.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you work closely with Backend Developers to develop high-quality, user-centric elements. You will share your ideas and vision for innovation with the Techlead and take a key advisory role in the development of new initiatives. In addition, you act as a point of contact for your Frontend colleagues, offering support where needed and creating a nice working atmosphere where everyone is treated equally.

You are also the point of contact for various projects, acting as a coach and mentor for your fellow frontenders. You ensure that projects are executed efficiently and successfully, managing expectations and maintaining a clear, open communication style. You advise the Tech Lead and Productowner on schedules and act as a sparring partner, substantiating your expertise and vision.
