Job description

As a Backend Developer, you will work in one of the Scrum teams, where you will work on our VOD platform that is the engine behind products such as Videoland and Pathé Thuis. It's a project-based company, so you will work on various other projects.

As part of the development department, you will work together with international colleagues from the US, India, and Mexico, among others. The team is professional and creative, so expect a lot of freedom. It is therefore good to have a great sense of responsibility and that operating independently is something that they can safely leave to you. You will work with the latest technologies, and you will not be afraid to invest and familiarize yourself with this.

Requirements

• Are an intelligent and flexible developer who likes to work on various types of technology.
• You don’t think in terms of boxes. By this we mean that you are not afraid to use some infrastructure in the public cloud, investigate a new language or adjust a database schema. Of course, we have DevOps represented;
• Have experience with PHP and Symfony or Laravel
• You have experience with popular languages ​​such as Node, Go, Python, PHP but are not afraid of JavaScript work in the front end.
