Our client has built a platform that offers an online streaming service for adults. In easier words, live webcam shows. However, this is not just any platform, because it generates a global high traffic which therefore requires quite a bit of engineering. This technology was developed by its CTO who won an international hackaton. A nice bonus is that the win provided a substantial fund for the development of the platform. So this is not just any software!

So what distinguishes this platform from others? Due to the application of the latest trends and techniques, this can be seen in the platform, where many gaming elements have been added. You can think as an example something like twitch, but then for adults. Because of all the new elements, fresh look and new techniques, the platform has quickly become popular with more than 200 models live each time of the day

Job description

Of course, you will not be in contact with the models or be seeing the models because they use templates over it. (unless you don't want to use the fond of course ;)) You will ensure that the users and models get the best possible platform to achieve the ideal user experience. In a rapidly growing global team of 44 employees, you will be working on new features to create more possibilities. This will ultimately will ensure the most complete platform possible.

As a software tester, you will work on testing various changes and additions to the platform and further professionalizing the existing testing area. You will communicate a lot with the product management team to guide the technical handover to the development team. Finally, you can share all your ideas and input on automated testing to create an automated testing environment in the future.

• Create and execute test plans and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify and document software errors.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and development of testing strategies.
• Perform regression testing and validation of new features.
• Assist in developing and maintaining test automation and tools.

Requirements

You don't have to master everything yet, but the more you can do, the more that translates into your compensation!

Minimum required:

• At least a completed college degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science or a related field of study
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with automated testing is not necessary, but nice to have.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, testing techniques and testing tools.
  - Knowledge of Databases is a plus.
  - Knowledge of automated tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Jest is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, both oral and written.
• Team player with a proactive and eager to learn attitude.
