With 25 years of experience, they specialize in creating unique, custom-made prints, utilizing special techniques and materials to achieve a distinctive look.
To streamline the process from order to delivery, the company has developed its own MRS and order processing system. With thousands of clients, they have now automated 98% of their production, including special cutting and production programs, enabling next-day delivery. While they are a printing company, they operate with complex systems that automate both processing and production.
The organizational structure is flat, offering ample room for improvement and optimization. The company continues to strive for faster and further automation of processes. One example of their progress: in 2015, they processed 30,000 orders per day with 15 employees; now, thanks to further automation, they produce 200,000 orders daily with only five employees.
Job Description
As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of applications that directly influence the company's production processes. Based in Houten, you will join a team of four developers working on building and optimizing the new production management software, "Flow," which is being developed in-house. The company is continuously focused on automating repetitive tasks to ensure scalability, with Flow being a key component. The team is also responsible for resolving performance issues and maintaining workflows within the company. Since the company has been around for 25 years, part of the software is legacy, but they are in the process of replacing it daily.
The role involves both front-end and back-end development, allowing you to develop a broad technical skill set. With your knowledge and experience, you will ensure that progress is maintained on the shared roadmap for both yourself and the development team.
Job description
- 5+ years of experience with PHP Symfony or Laravel
- Experience with JavaScript and Angular is a plus
- Knowledge of Python is a plus
