Senior PHP backend developer

The Company
Our client has been around since 2017 and has become a household name in the Netherlands, but also has been making steps into the international world of crypto, starting with Europe. Still upholding their first credo: Crypto for anybody, anywhere.
They have a physical store where peolpe can buy all their favorite crypto's, to help even more people onboard into crypto.
Currently the company consists of around 35 people, of which around 10 people are developers with multiple decades of experience.
Needless to say, this is quite the competative world to be in. The only way you're going to stay ahead is by delivering the most technically sound products. This is where you come in.
The job
As a senior PHP developer you will be working on both the internal CRM as well as on the broker.
You will be working in Schiphol-rijk 3 days a week, on new features, enhancing the old ones and maintaining everything currently standing.
Besides technical responsibilities you will also be helping out their more junior developers as well as working cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications.
So what do you bring?
- Minimum of 4 years' experience developing large scale web applications
- Experience with PHP and Laravel Framework
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Experience with Domain Driven Design
- You are creative in finding solutions to programming challenges
- Demonstrable knowledge in the substantive area of development is therefore a hard requirement, but a smooth chat and organizational talent are just as important
- You have the ability to learn from other developers and to pass your knowledge to your colleagues.
- You are able to function in a team where teamwork is one of the core values
- You have analytical skills and are able to come up with solutions yourself
