Job Description
As our in-house System Administrator, you’ll become the backbone of our IT environment. From hardware and software management to on-premise troubleshooting and security – you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll be joining a small but mighty team and work closely with the Head of Tech.
What Will You Be Working On?

Setting up and maintaining local IT infrastructure (printers, switches, laptops, etc.)

Administering Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory

Troubleshooting network and system issues on-site

Supporting the onboarding process for new employees
-
Advising the team on IT security and best practices
-
Managing software licenses, access, and user permissions
-
Collaborating with DevOps and software engineers on tooling and internal systems
Your Day:
9:00 – Stand-up with the tech team
Quick sync to align on priorities and share any blockers.
9:30 – Hands-on troubleshooting
Whether it’s a Wi-Fi issue, printer jam, or laptop setup – you’ve got it covered.
11:00 – Admin tasks
Managing Microsoft 365 accounts or making sure our network configuration is optimal.
12:00 – Lunch break
Join the team on our rooftop terrace or grab something at one of the nearby spots in Amsterdam.
13:30 – Security check & updates
Running updates, patching systems, and reviewing access logs.
15:00 – Tech improvement brainstorm
Bring your ideas for improving tooling, automation, or security.
16:30 – Wrap-up
Final checks and notes for tomorrow.
Job Requirements

HBO-level education or equivalent working experience
-
3+ years of experience in system administration or internal IT support

Solid experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory

Familiar with networking basics (switches, cabling, IP/DNS/DHCP)

Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills
-
Able to explain tech issues clearly to non-tech colleagues
-
Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)

Available to work on-site at least 3 days per week
