Experienced Frontend React Developer

The Company

Our client is a crypto investment firm that has been around for 3 years now. It's quickly becoming a household name in the (Dutch) crypto industry as they have a lot of knowhow and appear on many different talk shows and podscasts to help educate people on Cryptocurrency and on investing in this highly volatile asset class. They were one of the first companies in the Netherlands to be registered with the DNB (Nederlandsche Bank). They are currently growing rapidly. They're currently mainly tackling the Dutch market but are eyeing the international market currently and are looking to expand!

Of course the trick is to do well, even during these trying times, and our client manages to do so! They're still hiring, so that should say something. 

They're targeting mainly the most wealthy investors. They're a real crypto investment fund, which means they take the money of their clients into their custody and invest it for them. Obviously their clients get a say in the amount of risk they want to take, either go full into alt coins or just buy some Bitcoin, they obviously will give you apt advice on what is a good investment strategy. 

Besides investing for their clients, they also keep their clients funds safe and stake their clients funds for example if they wish to do so.

Their Frontend development is currently outsourced to a renomated party in The Netherlands. However they want to get their whole team in-house. The team in-house is currently small, this means you have a lot of say in the course the company will go. 

 

The Job

As frontend developer your input is absolutely key as this will be the business card of our client towards their clients. You will be working on the web application and the dashboard that will be used by the end user.

The main techstack is Typscript and React with Redux and Next Js. The work method is, as you might expect, Scrum. 

As the team is small still you will have a lot of possibilities to grow in any direction you would like, you will have the possibility to grow to Lead in a short time if that's what you want! It's important that you're both a team player as well as an independent developer. You will be working together with the Mobile development team as well.

• 3+ years experience in frontend development.
• Active work experience with React and Typescript
• Be proactive and ambitious!
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in an Agile environment. 
• You're just as excited to work in the crypto space as they are!
• You're willing to work 3 times a week in their flashed out office in Amsterdam!
