Junior Full Stack Developer – Platform and Agency

Looking at our client at face value, they're a software development agency. While in itself they're really good at that and have been working with the likes of KWF, Friesland Campina and Diakineses ziekenhuis. They have been doing things a little different than their competitors, that's why they've been growing and outshining many of them. 

After 20 years they know how to build a good website. During that time, they've learned that it's a waste of our time and attention to keep reinventing, designing, and developing components from scratch. That's why they've standardized those proven modules as much as possible. This provides a huge advantage: in time, costs, and quality. This way, they can immediately get to work on what makes you unique and work on that valuable connection with your end-users.

They have transformed proven solutions into standard platform solutions based on modern architecture principles and high-quality technology. These solutions can be used on their own or combined as components in a single online platform. You can continually add functionality to further strengthen the connection with your target audience.

The Job

So they're growing and are looking for a mid level full stack developer to join their ranks. They have multiple teams (around 50 developers in total) which you could join, overseen by some of the most knowledgeable developers in the game (PhD's all over the place). The cool thing is that you can also switch between the different teams if you so wish! 

You will be working on the different projects for clients as well as working on our own native platform. In this sense you have best of both worlds, learning from different projects as well as working on their own internal SaaS (platform) solution. This combined with their many decades of knowledge makes this a great place to learn!

The coding is done with many different technologies, such as Typescript/Javascript, React, php, C#, ASP.net, Docker, and SQL (postgres and mysql). However the main techstack for this role is Typescript, React and .NET. You can choose where the weight will be!

So what do you bring?

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related subject. 
• Experience with either (or both) Typescript and React or .NET.
• Willing to learn the above mentioned technologies if you don't have experience with them.
• Able to work 32 – 40 hours a week. 
• Are looking to improve as a developer and you are eager to learn.
• Able to work from the Rotterdam office twice a week
