By using depth cameras and RTK-GPS, they install their advanced edge devices on tractors. This equipment scans trees in real-time to gather data, which is then used to dose the right amount of chemicals, monitor soil quality, and ensure uniform tree growth.

All software is developed in-house by a talented team of developers. The visualization platform, which turns collected data into user-friendly insights for growers, is a crucial part of their offering. This helps growers not only manage their crops better but also increase productivity and reduce their environmental impact. The focus of our client is entirely on software development for hardware they procure themselves. These innovative solutions are applied worldwide and deliver measurable results for growers in various climates.

Role description

As a Medior Python Developer, you will become the Python developer within a team of 10 developers, divided into two scrum teams. You will work on the backend systems that power a platform transforming complex data streams into actionable insights for growers worldwide. This platform enables data-driven decisions that contribute to smarter and more sustainable agriculture.

While your primary focus will be backend development in Python, you will also have the opportunity to engage in DevOps tasks and collaborate on frontend integrations. Our client promotes a culture of learning and growth, offering ample space for your innovative ideas and technical contributions.

You will work with Python and have the chance to expand your expertise in related technologies such as Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and service architecture. Additionally, you can deepen your knowledge of cloud solutions and contribute to the scalability and efficiency of the platform. Requirements

You are a driven Python developer with at least 3 years of experience in Python and related backend technologies, looking for a new challenge within an innovative start-up. You don’t need to be an expert in frontend or DevOps, but you are open to further developing those skills. What matters most is that you have a proactive attitude and a passion for technology.

Furthermore, you are:

• Organized and structured
• Communicative and enjoy working in a team
• Residing in the Netherlands and legally authorized to work here

Employment conditions

• A salary between €4500 and €6000 gross per month.
