Machine learning Engineer

Build AI solutions that move beyond prototypes and into production. I'm looking for an  Machine learning Engineer who enjoys building scalable AI platforms, production-grade ML systems and Generative AI solutions that create measurable business impact.

You'll join an ambitious scale-up in the mobility and financial services sector that has made AI a strategic priority. The organisation is investing heavily in AI-powered automation, copilots, recommendation engines and autonomous AI agents.

What you do

• Build and train Machine Learning models for matching, recommendations and predictions in the commercial process.
• Take those models to production and keep them there, including automated training, deployment and retraining.
• Set up monitoring and observability, so you notice a model drifting before the business does.
• Help build the AI platform the rest of the team will work on.
• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs where that is the fastest route to business impact.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable solutions and contribute to the long-term AI architecture.

You'll collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Management, external AI partners and business stakeholders

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent working and thinking level.
• 5+ years of experience as an ML Engineer, MLOps Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Models you have taken to production yourself and owned afterwards.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD and containerisation.
• Understanding of data engineering and API architecture.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, vector databases or orchestration frameworks is a plus, not a requirement.

I'm looking for someone who combines real Machine Learning depth with a pragmatic mindset. Someone who is not finished when a model performs well in a notebook, but wants to see it running, monitored and improving in production. Someone who takes ownership, is curious about new AI technologies, and focuses on delivering real business value rather than research for the sake of research.
