What is it that they do?

Our client has built a platform that offers an online streaming service for adults. In easier words, live webcam shows. However, this is not just any platform, because it generates a global high traffic which therefore requires quite a bit of engineering. To make it all real simple, do you know twitch? All the technical challenges that come with the usage of million of users worldwide on different live streams at the same time? That kind of technical challenges, but then in the adult world. 

So what distinguishes this platform from others? Due to the application of the latest trends and techniques, this can be seen in the platform, where many gaming elements have been added. Because of all the new elements, fresh look and new techniques, the platform has quickly become popular with more than 200 models live each time of the day

What is it that you will be doing?

Of course, you will not be in contact with the models or be seeing the models because they use a fond. (unless you don't want to use the fond of course ;)) You will ensure that the users and models get the best possible platform to achieve the ideal user experience. In a rapidly growing global team of 60 employees, you will be working on new features to create more possibilities. This will ultimately will ensure the most complete platform possible.

You can think of implementing new payment systems where you are in direct contact with the developers of the payment systems to a good integration. Creating a new achievement system, API links, unit testing, and much more! There is plenty of work and now they need you to make the platform even more stable and user-friendly.

You don't have to work on site, as the team is located all over the world. Usa, Israel, Taiwan, China and the Netherlands. Because of the work in the different time zones a lot of responsibility is expected from you and in return a lot of freedom in your work.

What is it that you have to do?

You don't have to master everything yet, but the more you can do, the more that translates into your compensation! The CTO is a world-class developer, so he can guide you well to become a top developer as well. 

Minimum required:

• 3 years of professional Node.JS experience
• Test writing 
• Work according to code structures 
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, Next or Nest.
• Experience with CI/CD
• Fluent in English

Big plus:

• SQL
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Cloud (AWS or Azure)
