Our client is a well-established digital agency with over 30 years of experience building high-quality mobile applications for leading brands across telecom, finance, identity and consumer markets. Role Description

The focus is on heavy-duty backend engineering and high-throughput systems:

• Architecting and scaling high-load web applications and microservices
• Writing clean, testable code in Python (Django) while exploring secondary high-performance backend languages for critical services
• Leveraging AI dev tools and modern workflows in your day-to-day coding
• Defining project structures, system design, and technical roadmaps alongside the team
• Keeping systems reliable with modern CI/CD, observability tools, and cloud infrastructure

You’ll have a lot of influence on technical choices, balancing high standards with practical business value.

Requirements

• Around 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python and Django.
• A curious, polyglot mindset—you enjoy picking up new languages or stacks when performance or project needs demand it.
• Solid foundation in backend engineering, cloud setups (AWS, Postgres), and modern CI/CD.
• Pragmatic mindset: you care about code quality, system structure, and building software that holds up under load.
