Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will take on responsibilities that bridge cloud management and system administration, with a primary focus on supporting IT and DevOps teams.
In this role, you will:
- Utilize your hands-on skills to manage and optimize systems, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Play a key part in setting up redundant systems and networks within the office environment, enhancing system reliability and minimizing downtime.
- Act as a coach and mentor to team members, sharing knowledge and guiding them to develop their technical expertise.
- Design, develop, and maintain microservice-based web application cloud infrastructures in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging best practices.
- Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and Terraform for infrastructure as code, ensuring automation and consistency across deployments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructures for scalable, distributed applications, preferably using a major cloud provider.
- Hands-on expertise with container orchestration tools and infrastructure as code solutions to enable automation and deployment consistency.
- Strong background in building and maintaining systems that support microservices architectures in a cloud environment.
