The organization is structured around four teams working on different aspects of the platform, including maintaining and expanding existing functionalities, developing new features, and improving backend infrastructure.

Role description

As a Backend Developer, you'll play a crucial role in modernizing their backend codebase. You'll work on transitioning their monolithic architecture to a scalable microservices architecture, leveraging your expertise in NodeJS and NestJS. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop new features, improve existing code, and enhance the overall quality of their software.

Responsibilities:

Contributing to the development of backend functionalities using NodeJS and NestJS.
Improving code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborating with senior developers and participating in code reviews.
Optimizing application efficiency and performance.
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in backend development.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a backend developer with NodeJS.
Minimum 6 months of experience with NestJS.
Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile development and DevOps practices is a plus.
Passion for clean code and best practices such as DRY, KISS, and unit testing.
