Job Description

As a .NET Developer, you will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the company's software platform. Your main focus will be backend development, but you will also have the opportunity to look beyond the technical implementation.

Instead of immediately jumping into writing code, the team increasingly focuses on understanding what needs to be built, why it is needed, and how to achieve the best possible result in the most efficient way.

AI plays an important role in this approach. The goal is not to replace developers, but to develop software more intelligently and spend more time focusing on quality, structure, and functionality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and improving software solutions using C# and .NET.

• Using AI tools such as Claude to make development processes smarter and more efficient.

• Contributing to the structure and design of applications and evaluating technical solutions.

• Analyzing technical challenges and determining which solutions best meet customer needs.

• Improving existing functionalities and developing new features within the platform.

• Collaborating with other developers and contributing to knowledge sharing and innovation within the team.

• Exploring new technologies and ways to deliver software faster without compromising quality.

The team works according to Agile principles, but the company believes that processes should support results rather than become an end in themselves.

Job Requirements

For this position, we are preferably looking for someone at junior+/medior level. You do not need to know everything yet, and extensive years of experience are not required. What matters most is having a solid technical foundation, the ability to learn quickly, and the motivation to keep developing yourself.

Ideally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have experience in software development, preferably with C# and .NET, gained through professional experience, internships, or projects.

• You are interested in AI and recognize the opportunities that tools such as Claude offer within software development.

• You enjoy looking beyond writing code and contributing to the structure and quality of technical solutions.

• You are curious, eager to learn, and open to new technologies and changing ways of working.

• You have a pragmatic mindset and prefer finding solutions rather than focusing on limitations.

• You are interested in understanding customer needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.

• You are comfortable working independently but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues.

• You have a good command of English. Speaking Dutch is a plus, but not a requirement.

Experience with AI tools is an advantage, but you certainly do not need to be an expert. The company is primarily looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the possibilities of AI and motivated to explore how these technologies can improve software development.
