Integration Consultant

AppyThings is looking for a cloud integration consultant who designs how systems communicate across modern enterprise landscapes. You work with API platforms, cloud services and event driven patterns to create secure, scalable integrations.

AppyThings is a Dutch integration consultancy focused on API management and cloud connectivity. Since 2014 they have helped enterprises build digital ecosystems by connecting systems in smart, secure and maintainable ways.

They work with Azure, GCP, Apigee, Kong and Kafka. Their integrations support digital identity, real time supply chains and large scale data ingestion. Collaboration, clarity and craftsmanship define the culture.

Role description

You join the integration team and work on cloud projects where APIs and events form the backbone of digital communication. Your task is not to build features but to define how data flows between systems with security, governance and scale in mind.

Your work includes:

• Working with API management platforms such as Azure API Management, Apigee or Kong

• Designing integrations between cloud and on premise environments

• Implementing security and governance around APIs

• Contributing to automation, monitoring and CI CD pipelines

• Collaborating with architects, developers and business teams

• Advising clients and communicating clearly as a trusted consultant

• Optionally working with Kafka as part of event driven architectures

Open for mediors and seniors with either Azure or GCP experience.

Requirements

Must have

• Experience with cloud integration on Azure or GCP

• Real integration experience beyond building REST endpoints

• Understanding of API security, scalability and automation

• Strong communication skills and consultancy minded

• Pro active attitude and ability to represent AppyThings with confidence

• Fluent English

Big pluses

• Kafka or event driven background

• Experience with hybrid cloud setups

• Terraform and CI CD exposure

• Salary up to €85.000 per year
